Fly to Lhasa and exit to Kathmandu
Day 01
Airport transfer and fly to Lhasa (3650 m), hotel transfer, and
rest whole day for acclimatization.
Day 02-3
Sight seeing
at Potala palace, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, the Norbulinka
Palace, Jokhang temple Barkhor Market, etc.
Day 04
Drive to
Ganden, Sight seeing at Ganden Monastery and stay in a Camp
Day 05
Trek to the base of Shuga la pass and stay in a camp
Day 06
Trekking to cross Shuga la pass and stay in a camp
Day 07
Trekking to cross Chitu la pass and stay in a camp
Day 08
Trekking down to down to Samye monastery through Emalung village, tour around monastery
Day 09
Drive to Gyantse (3950 m) via Yamdrok lake and stay; Sight seeing at Palchor Chode and Kumbum monastery
Day 10
Drive to Shigatse (3900 m) via Shalu and stay; Sight seeing: Tashilumpo monastery and
local bazaar
Day 11
Drive to Shegar via Shakya monastery and stay
Day 12
Drive to Rombuk monastery, trek to Everest base camp and back
Day 13
Drive to Zhangmu and stay
Day 14
Drive to Friendship bridge at Nepal/Tibet border; meet the Nepali guide and then drive to Kathmandu.
